Having recently returned back home to Portland (OR), Jennifer has devoted over a decade of her 22-year tango career to touring, sharing her deep love and expertise in tango. She has taught at festivals and workshops worldwide, including Buenos Aires, Argentina (where she lived for more than two years); Montevideo, Uruguay; Palma De Mallorca, Spain; Madrid, Spain; Paris, France; Stockholm, Sweden; Zurich, Switzerland; Budapest, Hungary; Vienna, Austria; Hamburg, Germany; Berlin, Germany; London, England; Edinburgh, Scotland; Toronto, Canada; Montreal, Canada; and numerous U.S. cities such as Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Denver, New York City, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Boston, and Princeton and Yale Universities.
Her dancing is defined by her commitment to versatility. Viewing tango as a social dance, she emphasizes mastery in both close and open embrace styles. Once a connected and comfortable embrace is established, her focus turns to musicality, a core element in both her dance and teaching. Jennifer’s DJing style is equally adaptable; she customizes her playlists to match the energy and preferences of each event, balancing traditional and alternative milongas worldwide.
