Sunday Practica
Every Sunday afternoon - 1:00pm to 5:30pm or later
Viscount Studios - 724 E Burnside    Map to Viscount Dance Studios

This practica started in 1999 at Clay Nelson's old dance studio in Garden Home. It moved to its current location at the Viscount in 2004.

Bill Alsup (usually) and Megan Pingree (occasionally) host an informal basic techniques class at 1:00pm, then the practica continues until 5:30 or 6:00.

Bill and Megan do a wonderful job of creating a comfortable and informal space for dancers of all levels, including newcomers who may find dancing at more formal milongas intimidating. Your skill levels or "how you look" don't matter.

Music is pumped into two adjacent studios, and you are free to go back and forth between them to find that "just right" place to practice. All levels and ages are welcome at this non-threatening environment.

Admission is $5, which includes the lesson, light snacks, and beverages. [Cost is higher when the class is taught by visiting tango masters]

For more information, contact Bill at (971) 207-1508.
