Donations are still being accepted by Mercy Corps for disaster relief from the Haiti earthquake.
Over $5,000 has been donated from the Portland Tango community so far.

On January 12th, a 7.0 earthquake struck within a few miles of the heavily populated capital of Haiti, already the poorest country in the Western hemisphere, and caused untold damage. Mercy Corps is accepting donations towards the relief effort.

Estimates vary from 50,000 - 200,000 dead, and upwards of 3 million people affected.

Mercy Corps is accepting donations to help those people injured, displaced, and without food, water and basic shelter. A group has been set up to track contributions from the Portland Tango Community. You can add your donation by going to
